May Procession (5/10/2011) - Bel Air KC Council 4714 hosted a Marian devotion at the Council Home led by Council Chaplain Fr. Gerard Francik and supported by the Saint Francis Xavier Assembly's Color Corps. The ceremony was attended by District 16 District Deputy, the District Warden and his wife and 45 members, spouses, children, widows, one prospective candidate and guests. The goal of this annual event is to have a meaningful ceremony that promotes the sanctity of the Blessed Mother through songs, prayers, the litany of saints and a decade of the rosary. After the ceremony, Fr. Francik blessed the food that was prepared for the participants and the social time continued for about an hour. This ceremony benefits the Council membership and family. Financial Secretary Tom Sutera chaired this successful event.
