As the Knights of Columbus, we are interested in the development of strong, vibrant families. In support of this philosophy and to create an even greater arareness of our many families, the Supreme Council instituted the "Family of the Month" in 1978. This program honors council families who exemplify the values taught by our Church and our Order. Each month Supreme conducts a random drawing of the families submitted. The first 100 that are drawn receive a Holy Family statuette. The Bel Air Council typically presents the Family of the Month award at our social meeting the third Tuesday of every month. If you would like to nominate a family of the month, please contact Terry Lijewski at (410) 879-5872 or by e-mail tlij@comcast.net. FYI--the family of the month nomination does not have to be a Council member. If you know of a deserving Catholic family that should be honored please let Terry know.
